This year has exceeded our expectations, we have met our goals as a Camp and as a Team. Our staff have excelled and given the fact that Daka Plains is a new and emerging product. They have stepped up to the plate in every area and task required. For many of our team this has been a steep learning curve with many challenges.
Our guiding team with Ian, Fisher and Terrence have provided the backbone of the excitement and hype that has surrounded Daka Plains and the Daka Plains concession. During the course of the Safari season, feedback and guest experiences have spoken volumes about the quality of their stay and time in camp.
Jeremy Richards joined us in April 2024, as the new Camp Manager and has stepped into this role with enthusiasm and a passion for everything Daka Plains. We are thrilled that Jeremy has committed to Daka Plains long term as we grow and expand our team and brand.
In the past week we were joined by Emma Gatland for a photoshoot in camp. This time of the year is known for its dramatic skies and weather. We were treated to some incredible colours and spectacular photographic opportunities; we look forward to sharing these exciting images with you on our Social Media platforms.
To end off, we are blessed that the first rains have arrived. The parched, dry landscape has transformed overnight. The colours of the bush are now a myriad of unique and different shades with the green flush replacing the harsh browns of the dry season.
